Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you accept my insurance?

Pharmco is listed as a network pharmacy on most all major insurance programs across the USA. However, in most cases, the insurance will not reimburse for a compounded medication directly. Therefore, Pharmco will offer a prescription receipt that can be submitted by the patient for further coverage options.

2. Can I pick-up my prescription at your pharmacy?

Yes, you are welcome to pick up the medication at our pharmacy. We do provide shipping to your house upon request.

3. How much do you charge for shipping?

We provide free shipping for compounded RX that is paid with credit card. If the prescription is covered by insurance, then the insurance may not allow shipping as they usually require an in-person signature for receipt of the medication. That would be determined by the individual insurance policy.

4. Can you contact my physician for a refill or new prescription?

Yes, we routinely contact physicians for refills and/or new prescription requests.  With new prescriptions, the doctor’s office may require an appointment to review the need.

5. Can you call my pharmacy to transfer my prescription to your pharmacy?

Absolutely, we call for transfers routinely.

6. Do you offer discounts for compounded prescriptions?

Yes, our compounded products have the lowest prices in town. Please feel free to call us for a price comparison and for any special discount program.

7. Do you offer discounts for generic medications?

Yes, our prices for commercially available generics are often less than the insurance dictated co-pay. Please feel free to call us for price check.

8. How long does it take to get a prescription filled and shipped out?

We process new prescriptions on the same day that it’s received. Usually it will be ready to ship the same day or the next day. Delays are usually due to a need to contact the doctor’s office for order clarification or need to contact the patient for shipping address or billing concerns.

9. How do I send you the prescription?

Prescriptions can be sent to us directly from the doctor’s office. Please have the prescriber either send it electronically orders@pharmco.us.com or via FAX at (877) 210-1381.

10. What safety precautions are you taking to help protect me and my family from COVID related issues?

We offer curb side pick-up or shipping directly to your home. We abide by the Healthcare Advisory requirements to protect and prevent the spread of COVID. We routinely wear masks and exercise all social distancing protocols.
